One day, six projects, all in service to our Lord!  Please plan to join us for the Great Day of Service on Saturday, May 7. There will be service opportunities for all skills, talents and ages. Let’s see how close to 100% participation we can get—everyone’s talents and gifts are needed! Projects planned are quilting at the church to create quilts for the children from the Nelson Center (no prior experience needed!), providing social and craft time and a pizza lunch at the Nelson Center, landscaping and/or performing carpentry work for Mid-Cities Care Corps, painting or repair for GRACE and updating or repairing a cabin at Briarwood. A Children’s Service Camp for young children will be provided at the church. The day will begin with breakfast and festive send-off at the church at 9:00a.m. This Sunday, May 1, is the deadline to register, so please stop by the Welcome Table and sign up before or after the service (you’ll also be getting a cool, limited edition “Great Day” T-shirt shown below!). For questions or more information, please contact Chip and Terri Sakakeeny at GreatDay@abidinggracedfw.org
