Director of Youth and Family Ministry

Hi, my name is Jason Greenwald. I was born up North in Green Bay, WI (Go Pack Go!) but was raised int he Chicago land area (Go Cubs!). Growing up, I was always into music and sports. I have played in quite a few bands playing guitar, bass, and lead singer. I own ten guitars and am always looking for another to add to the collection. Athletically, I played soccer and basketball in high school and in college I played men's volleyball. I graduated from Carthage College in 2002 with my degree in History and started working as a Youth Director in the Twin Cities. In 2005, I moved to Texas to take another youth director position and was there until 2009. While there, I met my wife Michelle. We have a four year old named Aurora and Jonah  was born on Easter this year. I graduated from Wartburg Seminary in the spring of 2013 with my Masters of Theology with an emphasis in Youth, Culture, and Mission. Abiding Grace then hired me in the fall of 2013, and I am looking forward to the adventures that God has in store for the youth and children here at the church.
